Grace’s room update: new wallpaper and rug!

I am IN LOVE with the recent changes in Grace's room, it is finally finished, until we redo the floors upstairs, change is fun!!

If you guys have followed me for any amount of time you know about my obsession with removable wallpaper! When I was thinking of doing a refresh in Grace’s room I instantly thought: wallpaper! Now her room had been wallpapered already BUT I was never was quite happy with the color and the quality of the wallpaper left a bit to be desired… It had lumps and bumps all over it instantly after I had carefully installed it. No good! So with my new idea in mind I started to shop. I came across some beautiful papers from a gorgeous company: Tempaper had so many gorgeous selections to choose from and their customer service answered my questions immediately. My biggest problem was trying to find one that I loved the most, narrowing down my choices was hard!

Now the rest of the house blue has been my new go to “favorite” color… I’m not sure if my new found love will stay but it’s definitely a color that is taking front row preference in ALL of my decor decisions as of late. So when I found this gray – bluish floral wallpaper I was thinking it would be absolutely perfect. Yasssss!

Better yet: it included the accent color yellow, my first love!

I decided this was IT!

The wallpaper arrived quickly and was shipped well packed,  I quickly opened up the box and was in love! The company included one of their wallpaper install tools and it was a perfect accessory, it gulped smooth out each piece as I applied it. It was super easy to install! There were no lumps or bumps this time!

I was in love! And Grace was super excited about the new look too!

I loved too how it happened to match an old framed picture from Adam’s mom’s childhood, I love having it hang over Grace’s bed as a blessing for her as she sleeps.

Now that I had found this gorgeous wallpaper I needed to find a new rug. We will be ripping out the carpet in this room soon and I wanted Grace to have a large rug to cover almost the whole floor. I found one I loved from It had a vintage feel and the colors I was hoping to incorporate: bingo!

It arrived and I instantly loved how soft it was!

And it also matched perfectly the rest of the room tying it all together.

I painted a mirror blue for Grace to have while getting dressed, and this dresser I had recently painted blue fit right in, yay!

Ziggy is a big fan of the makeover as well!

I’m so happy with the new wallpaper and rug, even better is how much Grace loves her new room!

Thank you for reading along on this room’s makeover. This post while sponsored, contains all my personal views and experiences! ❤️ Both companies listed were a joy to work with.
